Mafia Wars Maniac

i started playing this game (MAFIA WARS) approximately 3 weeks ago, and now i'm leveling very fast. there are three types of mafia: mogul, maniac and fearless, and i'm fearless type ; quite a rare choice. all these three types of level have different specialties. PLAY IT AND YOU WILL DISCOVER BY YOURSELF.

by the way, any of you who wants to add me as mafia members, add me at facebook profile hero_water2005@yahoo.com. hehehehe sempat lagi promote2 ba, kakakaka...a few of my friends played this as well, n we shared a lot of strategies to perform better. rahime adin is one of the most extreme players i've ever met.hehehe.levelling 100 within just a few days. anyway, what excites me most about this game is that i will always have new things to explore...new aims and new purposes on how to play this game... getting more hitlist kills, leveling fast, collecting a lot of powerful items, winning more fights and wars could be your target... that actually depends on how you want to play this game...

well, what i'm trying to tell you is that, for those who loves military matters n special forces, try this game because you will learn a lot...on how the professional mafia carry out their illegal bussiness and actions...two thumbs up for Mafia Wars... Just a reminder, you should be more disciplined if you are addicted to this game. Mafia Wars will definitely take its toll on you..

blahh..blahh..i saw you were yawning just now...ok lets skip the boring parts...

after some time, i was attracted with a few more games in facebook...one of them is FarmVille..this is another farming game...xmau la buat keja2 mafia g, mau taubat buat keja tanam2 sayur n bela kambing lembu (LOL). its a very light and a fun game...you can download the background sound effects from farmville and make it your ring tones or message alert. its nice :)

I don't care about grammar... USM memories!

This picture was taken in 2008 when i was having memorable activities with the student society...lot of wonderful exp i've got here. gonna have this kind of society again in the future, but definitely with different people....just wanna let u know that this society means a lot to me...;) nobody can replace the same people that i knew...

taking picture with one of the biggest man in education...the head of language department in Malaysia..he's one inspiring man

There it comes again...when i think again about what i have done all these 4 years in USM...well, i have lots of things to say. Good, bad, all in one. now, knowing that all of us are called "4th year" students, i feel like its almost time for us to leave USM and go along with the next chapter of our life...working. wow, u gotta be kidding me! i'm not ready. haha. dunno when i will have time to watch life: gigs with zahead n the others again!!

however, forget all the tenses behind, we still have a lot to treasure here, right! the next challenging event: Teaching Practical at SMK Sungai Layar, Sungai Petani, Kedah! i've been there twice (just looking around)...its very near to housing lots...its quite similar to my little hometown, cuz its near the town but surrounded by kampungs...pic below is not my school, but i believe its one of the best schools in Sungai Petani...

i dunno what'll happen to all my friends, xpecially TESOLIANS...dunno when i can hang out with u guys again...go to pasar malam, dinner n lunch n branch together, go crazy together, n whatever it is...dunno what the future will hold for us...the uncertainty in the future made me feel quite crazy...kinda feel frustrated with my relationship with a few friends cuz i didn't feel i make it quite well, but just wanna let u know...u guys will always be my friends...never forget me, cuz i'll never forget u all...hope that we can meet again in perfect forms...

japanese class with sensei zizie...wow, believe me its a wonderful class!

hardcore TESOLIAN friends...i still cannot believe no matter how bad / slow / frustratingly late in doing assignments / demotivated / imperfect i am, u guys are still there...u have faith in me...hahaha u guys really are special...fly's n the others are not here...BUT they are INCLUDED as well...u guys rawk! two thumbs up! hehehe..

i just wanna recall a few incidents in TESOL...i've seen people change, or they didn't change at all: they just feel that they want to be themselves...even by the means of to be hurted or to hurt other people...just wanna say, please come save these people...i still believe that they want to get better, but somewhere along the line, they've lost hope n people around them...why? the answer depends on you n me...how to change ourselves...we need to change first before expecting others to change. (quote from fly, one great philospohical man) especially this is final year, we didn't want to end it like this...help!

If you are asked what kind of thing that you'll miss in penang...what would it be??one of the things that i'm gonna miss is penang foods...what else?? batu ferringhi...pasar malam...the night view from my hostel (usm desasiswa tekun)... penang food: it is not penang foods if its not spicy and filled with curry...sometimes i had enough with them...blurrrp :P but when we r away from penang, surely, that is what we will miss a lot,,, :)

Pesanan Aidilfitri buat semua

Mau buat pantun ka lagi? Ala, biarlah bah, intro2 ja bah ni...

Aidilfitri datang menjelma

Makanan dan minuman minta dihalalkan...manalah tau kamu semua ajak2 ayam ja utk makan, tpi aku plak yg melebih2...hehe...kita kan hanya insan biasa...semua O-O okey...

Akhir sekali, Selamat Menyambut Hari Raya Aidilfitri buat anda semua!! Maaf zahir dan batin!!

Tambun Lost World!

Exit 158, Bukit Tambun

I've already went to this place once, with PERSIS members... and I really want to go one more time... Its really, really exciting!!

I even find the map of Tambun Lost World in Google Earth to know the way, so that I will know how to drive from Penang to that place... Apalah! Kenapa la aku buat benda susah-susah ni... Who knows how to drive there? Someone help me!

I already found the Tambun website, but I was still clueless... I intend to rent a car with my friends (those who really want to join) and go there once again... But when? I'm out of money and maybe I will just wait for the right moment...

There is one part where I like most in Tambun Lost World. It is a water tunnel that throws you from the top of tunnel to an opening of the water pool... My friends said the darker the tunnel inside, the more you feel the thrilling sensation. Sugoii... This part!

A few steps away from the water-theme park games, there are also a place where we can see the wild tigers... Wild, wild, wild! They are kept in a jungle-like park, as if you can see the real tiger habitat...

Then, there are also "dry section". I called it dry section because people who do not want to get wet (afraid of extreme water games or hydrophobia) can also play a lot of outdoor games. I can say they are more similar to Genting Highland's park because you can also see the "crazy ride" (I forget the real name of it). But this is the picture:

One of the games in Genting Highland is called "The Pirate Ship". It is most similar with one of the games in Tambun Lost World. The structure, the seat and movement are almost the same. The difference is that in Genting, they will only start when all the seats are fully occupied! Come on! What is that for? Maybe it's just a safety measure to keep the pirate ship in balance. Perhaps it's just their rule? But in Tambun, they will start playing this Pirate Ship even though most of the seats are still empty... Believe it or not, just look at this Tambun picture (so many empty seats!):

Below is called "Cliff Racer"... When I was there, I imagined myself playing flash games, racing with the opponent at the other side of the cliff... and I was the character of the flash game. Hahahaha... Just being imaginative will add more fun!

But still... I have no RM, RM, RM, RM... I mean money, money... So, I just dunno when...

Team Squash United (TSU) Farewell Party

Ni gambar aku ngan kawan-kawan di Queensbay after farewell party for Jasni (pic: second from right). Standing from left, Amar, Ain, Wani (new), Tinie, Jasni and Shah. Sitting from left, me and Shimie. We called this team: Team Squash United (TSU)!! Word to describe: Hardcore squash players. Hehehe.. Actually there are a lot of TSU members, but some of them were not there for they have night classes. That night, we went to Hammerbay Restaurant, Queensbay and Bukit Jambul. Thanks to Shah for the treat. As for Jasni, congratulation! You will be one of my toughest opponents in TSU, always and forever.

What matters to me most about Japan?

After some editing for my scrapbook, this is the final.

Memory of Fujio F. Fujiko!

When I was a little kid, I watched Doraemon almost every weekend. I grew up watching Doraemon, so when I watched Doraemon today, it is nostalgic because it reminds me of my childhood days. Doraemon is originally Fujiko F. Fujio’s work of art. Fujiko F. Fujio is a pen name for Hiroshi Fujimoto. His story ideas are beyond my imagination. Doraemon is a famous cartoon and is still being watched by many children nowadays.

J-Music!

One of my most favorite Japanese singers is Yui. She comes from a small town called Fukuoka. She composes and sings mostly modern tempo songs, but what are special about this girl is her sweet voice, her guitar skills and her inspiring songs. Apart from her unique personality, she is also very moderate, polite and simple unlike any other artistes. One word to describe her: talent! Besides Yui, I also listen to Orange Range’s songs. Orange Range is a Japanese band and the best word to describe this band: creative!

I am also a big fan of the old J-Rock Band called X-Japan. I like two of their songs best, entitled “Tears” and “Endless Love”. You should try to listen to their songs. They were once a rock legendary in Japan. The best word to describe them: rock!

Japanese Class!

Curiosity, interest and knowledge have led me to enroll in sensei ZZ’s Japanese class, only to find that there are much more to learn. However, when I learn Japanese, I never feel frustrated. I just wanted to learn more and more. Arigato, sensei. One word to describe you: inspiring!

Naruto Anime!

I admit that I am a ‘hardcore’ fan of Naruto anime. I think Naruto is one of the most popular anime in Japan. Everyone in Japan knows about it. Naruto is an anime that tells the story of a ninja kid called Naruto, and much of that story resembles the world we live in. Up until now, I used to follow Naruto anime’s updates in the internet: its latest movies, manga, anime series, and even the forum discussions. I joined them and find that they are very knowledgeable and interesting.

Naruto anime mirrors what is happening to the real world right now: planet perils in wars, peace, hatred, revenge, family, love, friendship, trust, determination and what not. It is very interesting to know how the writer relates the anime to the real world. People will eventually see my point of view if they tried to understand the message in Naruto anime, not just the fun in ninja fighting and stuffs like that.

It is really exciting when you follow Naruto anime’s progress from time to time only to find that the creativity, quality and knowledge of Naruto anime’s production have improved so much. I should give credits to the production crews especially to the artist, Masashi Kishimoto, who is the man behind the success.

Masashi Kishimoto started drawing since he was still a kid. There was a tradition carried out in his family to predict a baby’s future. There are three objects placed in front of the baby and what the baby picks will picture his future life. When he was still a baby, he picked up the drawing brush. Honestly, I do not believe in stuffs like that, but, Masashi Kishimoto likes drawing and it seemed as if the prediction was right. When he was a younger, he won the Weekly Shōnen Jump monthly “Hop Step Award” for his first manga called “Karakuri”.

There was a time when he had once almost given up drawing, but the anime called “Akira” had inspired him to draw again. Now, he had inspired many people through his work of art too. Besides his work in the manga, Kishimoto also designed the video game character Lars Alexandersson for Tekken 6.

He has a younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, who is also a manga artist and a creator of manga series called 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. They surely have something in common run in their blood: drawing talent.

Hayao Miyazaki's Anime!

Apart from Naruto anime, I also collected Hayao Miyazaki’s anime every now and again. I believe that he is one of the most successful anime movie makers in the history of Japan. His studio production is very popular and it is called Studio Ghibli. One of his movies "Spirited Away" attracted Walt Disney Company in Hollywood and the movie’s copyright is bought and transferred for Walt Disney Company’s ownership. I have collected most of his movies and anime for the past few years including his popular and even the not-so-popular anime CD and VCD from various anime centers such as Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Georgetown, and Ipoh.

Watching Hayao Miyazaki’s anime is a life-changing experience because his anime shows a great effort, an excellent piece of work, a god-given talent, and most importantly, his movies and anime give a lot of divine messages to the world.

Totoro, Grave of Fireflies, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Laputa and Castle in The Sky, Nausicaa and The Valley of Wind and The Cat Return are the titles that I would never forget. Totoro is the first anime I watched when I was 4 or 5 years old...I never really understand the story then because I could not read yet, but it gave such a powerful memory to me because my parents and by brother watched it together in the MTV room back in my little hometown.

Jalan Jalan Cari Makan!

A Day in Japanese Restaurant

18 August 2009

Today is a perfect day. I looked at my assignment schedule and figured out that on the first day after the mid semester break, I need to hand in the Japanese Scrapbook to my sensei. I really have a lot to say about Japan and what I like most about it, but none of it is really an interesting story to begin with. I might just write down information about Japan that I already know or copy them down from the internet. However, that is not what I want to do. I prefer sharing my personal experience.

I used to watch Naruto anime, but some people do not watch it. So, they will surely lose interest at the very first page of my scrapbook. I bet I should find something else to talk about. How about Japanese food? Everyone must be very curious to know about it such as sushi and wasabi. I myself do not know much about Japanese food. That is the point! If I try some Japanese foods, it must be an exciting experience for me too. So, I decided to go find some sushi. Yeah!

Just in time two of my friends asked me to go out with them to Queensbay Mall. Queensbay Mall is opened for business since 1 December 2006. I can say it is still a new mall. It is currently the largest, longest and most modern shopping mall in Penang with a gross built up of 2.5 million sq ft and over 1 million sq ft net lettable area.

The Mall is located in Bayan Lepas, minutes away from the Penang Bridge, the heart of a prime waterfront development sprawling over a land area of 73 acres.

I agreed and asked my friends to accompany me to eat at the Japanese restaurants to experience the taste of some sushi. They said they are looking forward to it. We promised to meet tomorrow at 2.00 p.m.

19 August 2009

Today the sun is bright and shiny. I smell fresh afternoon breezes when I open my room’s door. At 2.15 p.m., I walked to the bus station with my friends, Adriana and Alif and waited for the Rapid Penang Bus. Soon, we boarded a bus to Queensbay Mall and after approximately 15 minutes, we arrived there. Just as promised, we would go to a Japanese restaurant and find the sushi. We walked around, and finally we have found a Japanese restaurant at the Ground Floor. It is called “Restoran Jepun: Nippon Yataimura”. However, when I looked at the menus, the restaurant serves non-halal foods. So, we decided to find other Japanese restaurants.

As we walked, we have found another Japanese restaurant called “Azuma Japanese Restaurant”. The Japanese restaurant was just perfect, even the authority has certified that it is a halal restaurant with the HALAL printed document in front of the restaurant. However, Alif said that he just went to this restaurant yesterday and wanted to try another restaurant. Well, I just go with the flow. So, I asked him to snap a picture and then we left to find another restaurant.

We passed by JUSCO entrance at the Ground Floor again and saw JUSCO Section called “Tako Tao” Section. There were a lot of packed sushis at the corner. However, if I buy these sushis, I could not experience the atmosphere at the Japanese restaurant because these sushis were served to be taken away.

Then, we went around walking again. We have found the next Japanese Restaurant called “Sushi King”. This is a very familiar name. As we went to the Sushi King entrance, we were greeted by a female waiter. I guess this restaurant is going to be our final choice, after all. Without asking question, we entered the restaurant and sat at a table.

As a start, I looked at the menu and ordered “Beef Yakiniku.” This reminded me of Choji, a fat character in Naruto anime (did I just say fat??), who always yelled “Yakiniku!” when he gets his treat at the restaurant. By the way, Beef Yakiniku’s main serving is a big plate of roasted beef and it is mixed with vegetables such as green cabbages and sliced carrot. There are three bowls at the side: rice, soup, and egg pasta. Then, a drink comes together with the set. It is called Yakult; a drink originally made in Japan and contained live healthy bacteria or culture milk. The price for all of them is RM18.90. Takai! However, the main reason I chose the menu is because I liked the vegetables and wanted to know what “Yakiniku” is.

Then, Alif chose “Kodomo Bento.” It is a set of seafood: fried prawns, fried fish, sliced squids, sliced taufu, some fresh vegetables and rice. All of them are placed in a sectional plate. The price is RM14.90.

Then, he ordered an orange juice originally made in Japan. The price for it is RM6.90. We only knew about the price after we re-checked the menu though. Adriana is not a sushi lover, but she did take a bite of a few sushis.

The system in Sushi King is very effective. There are two large spinning tables at the front and back side of the restaurant. We called the sushis on these spinning tables as “The Spinning Sushi.” On the tables are served sushi and other Japanese foods. Customers can choose either to sit on a long bench located alongside the large, spinning table and eat the sushi there or sit on a different table, just beside the spinning table, for a family treat. We can also choose to eat both the spinning sushi on a normal table and order a larger set of sushi from the waiter. We had so much to eat that we felt almost bloated.

The price for the order is placed at the menu while the price for the spinning sushi is based on the sticker’s color on each plate. There are five types of colors, and each color has different price. For example, sushi with a blue sticker on it is RM2.00 while the purple sticker is RM6.00. So, please take a careful look at the sticker’s color before grabbing any sushi at the spinning table!

During our time in Sushi King, we also have met a family of Japanese tourists. They are from Nagoya, Japan. Those little kawaii kids' names are Yume (oldest), Mime (middle) and Yumi (youngest). Their mother's name is Kimi Kawashima. They came with their grandmother as well, but the oba-chan was paying the bills. They were in a 15-days holiday trip in Malaysia since 6 August 2009 and soon would be back on 21st August. I did try and practice some of my Japanese dialogues with them and it was intriguing. Below is some of my conversation with them:

Me : Konichiwa. Nihon-jin desuka?
Mother : Konichiwa. Hai. Nihon-jin desu. (Japanese citizen).
Me : Watashiwa Hanafi-desu. Mareshia kara kimashita. Dozo yoroshiku. Onamaewa, nandesuka?
Mother : Kimi Kawashima. (Then she said something I did not understand, but I knew she was trying to ask
me something like “Do you know Japanese?”)

Me : Sukoshi (little). I like Naruto anime. (I suddenly broke into English!).
Mother : (She explained to her daughters that I like Naruto. I heard the word “suki”).
Me : Onamaewa, nandesuka? (I pointed my finger towards the kids).
Yume : Yume-desu, Mime, Yumi. (She introduced both of her younger sisters to me).
Me : Can we take pictures together? (English again).
Mother : (She explained to her kids. Obviously the kids did not know English very well).
Me : Arigato.

I am a newbie in Japanese. A word to describe: noob. LOL. I could understand very little of what they have said. I could not think fast at the moment, but at least I could reply a few words. The longest sentence I said is "Yume-san wa Mime-san no oniichan desu ka?" which means Are you (Yume) Mime's sister? I kinda feel embarrassed even to try out that sentence. Finally, we broke into English conversation. :(((

Nagoya is located in the middle part of Japan.

After finished eating at Sushi King, we went to a few interesting places. Like, Harajuku Clothes Section. The clothes at the back are some of Harajuku's fashion.

After a few hours, we went to the food court and ate another kind of food for dinner. This time, I could not remember what type of foods they are, but usually I did not care much about them because once I've found something to eat, lantaklah!

Overall, thanks to my friends because that day I have found something to write for my Nihon Scrapbook. Arigato!

The Interview With GOD

I get this poem somewhere, I couldn't recall. This poem has made a great impact on me... Believe it or not, you will be amazed on how true it is...I would like to share this poem with everyone:

THE INTERVIEW WITH GOD

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

So you would like to interview me? God asked.

If you have the time, I said.

God smiled. My time is eternity.
What questions do you have in mind for me?

What surprises you most about humankind?

God answered…
“That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
long to be children again”.

“That they lose their health to make money…
and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither
the present nor the future.”

“That they live as if they will never die,
and die as though they had never lived”.

God touches my hand
and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked…
If you a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
you want your children to learn

“To learn they cannot make anyone
love them. All they can do
is let themselves be loved”.

“To learn that it is not good
to compare themselves to others”.

“To learn to forgive
by practicing forgiveness”.

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them”.

”To learn that a rich person
is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least”.

“To learn that there are people
who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned
how to express or show their feelings”.

”To learn that two people can
look at the same thing
and see it differently”.

To learn that it is not enough that they
forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves”.

“Thank you for your time,” I said humbly.

“Is there anything else
you would like your children to know?”

God smiled and said,
“Just know that I am here… always”.

Genting Trip...

These are some pictures that I have captured in Genting Highlands... I felt more like in a "school trip" when knowing that H1N1 rumors (it was real though) were spreading crazily around Malaysia, and all of us obediently followed the instinct to wear the masks for our protection. What was so funny about this trip was that when Emma told us to go to a certain place, we had no choice but to follow her since she knew all the way... It was like... Kids, lets go this way...Then we said, okay, mum. Hahahaha...

Remembering the trip, I felt it was funny too when we wore masks in the middle of Pudu road before the trip to Genting. People in the restaurants, sidewalks and bus terminals just couldn't stop staring wildly at us, not because they felt it was strange to see a bunch of masked strangers, but they had this kind of look "ahh...they are contagious, we better get away with them..." I still remember when we entered McDonald, the people inside it instantly covered their mouths and noses with both hands. Basically, we wear the masks for our own protection, not because we were diagnosed with H1N1.

However, in the end, when we were tired of wearing the masks all the time, we simply take off our masks and put it in our bags... It was the sign when we were too absorbed with the fun in Genting. All I know is that the trip in Genting was the best trip ever in my life. Going together with my friends made the trip more exciting and meaningful. Even though the place was too crowded with people, the climate was too cold and foggy, you would forget all about them when you were in the middle of the fun. You must try a trip to Genting if you have a chance… I tell you… It was worth spending your time and money!
